The Charity Organization was officially registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 28, 2024. Our mission is to contribute to the development of charity traditions in our country and to provide unconditional assistance to low-income and vulnerable individuals. Our areas of activity mainly include education, healthcare, and social assistance programs. The projects we implement in these fields are aimed at improving the quality of life of people in need.
As the principal pillar and visionary leader of the Organization, the Chairperson oversees the sustainable and efficient implementation of charitable activities. The Chairperson’s role is not limited to financial management and administration; it also includes supervising the application of strategic and creative approaches aimed at contributing to the well-being of society. The Chairperson defines the Organization’s short- and long-term strategic goals and ensures their effective implementation.
The Advisory Council consists of an odd number of members, with a maximum of 7, and the membership is renewed every 3 years. The Advisory Council is authorized to express its opinion on new directions and proposals, to approve the Executive Director’s project proposals and activity program, and to provide its position regarding amendments to the Organization’s Charter.
The Executive Director oversees the executive apparatus, regulates the activities of the departments under their supervision, ensures the lawful operation of the Organization, and monitors the implementation of projects and the achievement of strategic goals. The Executive Director is also a member of the Board.
The members of the Supervisory and Audit Commission are appointed by the Chairperson and oversee compliance with the Organization’s Charter, as well as the proper use of financial resources in accordance with the Organization’s objectives. The Supervisory and Audit Commission submits a monthly report on its activities to the Chairperson and the Executive Director.
The members of the Union are divided into three categories: honorary, corporate, and regular members. Honorary and corporate members annually transfer a donation, in the amount determined by the Union, to the Union’s account. They may also voluntarily participate in various commissions (Education Commission, Healthcare Commission, Social Commission, Accounting and Legal Assistance Commission, etc.).
